Does Owning A Lot of Cats Affect Your Sanity?

We’ve all heard about crazy old ladies who surround themselves with cats, but is there any correlation between the number of cats you own and your level of sanity?
Perhaps there is a tipping point, a rough number of cats that reliably coincides with insanity.
